All American Girl; this doll was made for a nationality contest at Patchwork Butterfly and won Josie's Choice award. It represents both my heritage and pride in my nationality. :) Ixchel; I was reading an article about an Aztec festival going on in New Mexico and I really liked one of the costumes a dancer was wearing, though I'm not sure how truly accurate her garb was... I'm happy with it, in any case. :)

Yasuyo; made for Historical Dolls Asian Dress contest. Again, I'm not sure how accurate this is- it was inspired by a drawing on a take-out menu. *SHRUGS* Inta'ar; this was created for a site guardian contest at Pink Kisses- I figure a just guardian should at least give offenders a chance to save themselves with a riddle before she eats them... ;)

Yeliz; this doll was made for Maldelothiel's Cultural Contest and represents the nation of Turkey (though, I must admit, I used a bit of artistic license with the costume... they really shouldn't issue those licenses so frivalously!). ;) Hana; I really like the colors in this one- turned out much better than I thought it would. ^_^

Mai; this doll was created for a kimono contest. I know, it's not the most accurate clothing design- but I did win a couple of awards for it. ;) Isobella; this doll was based on a picture of a tango dancer in a magazine ad- sort of Moulin Rouge, no?
